Tropical Sunset Mango Chill Iced Tea – Delicious and Easy to Make

Ingredients

2 black tea bags (or 2 teaspoons loose leaf tea)
4 cups water, divided
1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons honey (or sugar, to taste)
Ice cubes
Fresh mango slices or mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil and pour it into a large pitcher.
Add the tea bags and let them steep for about 10 minutes, then remove the tea bags and set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine the diced mango and the remaining 2 cups of water.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, mashing the mango to create a thick, fruity pulp.
Strain the mango liquid into the pitcher with the brewed tea.
Stir in the honey until fully dissolved and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate until chilled, then serve over ice.
Garnish with fresh mango slices or mint leaves if desired and enjoy immediately.
