Smoked Shotgun Shells

Easy and Dilicious Smoked Shotgun Shells

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) ground beef or sausage
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
1/4 cup diced onions
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
12 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
12 slices of bacon
1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

_ Step 1: In a bowl, mix ground beef, cheese, onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
_ Step 2: Fill each uncooked lasagna noodle with the meat mixture. Roll tightly to form “shells.”
_ Step 3: Wrap each shell with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if needed.
_ Step 4: Place the shells on a smoker or grill preheated to 225°F (107°C). Smoke for 1.5-2 hours, turning occasionally.
_ Step 5: Brush each shell with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes of smoking for a caramelized glaze.
_ Step 6: Serve hot and enjoy the smoky, savory goodness!
