Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough
250 g ground sausage
200 g cream cheese (softened)
1 can Rotel (drained – diced tomatoes with green chilies)
Optional
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp chopped green onions
Pinch of chili flakes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 190°C
In a pan over medium heat, cook sausage until browned
Drain excess fat
Add cream cheese and stir until melted and fully combined
Stir in drained Rotel and mix well
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles
Spoon a small amount of filling onto each triangle
Roll up from the wide end to the tip
Place on a lined baking tray
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown
Optional: sprinkle cheese on top in the last few minutes of baking
