Ingredients
2 packages (14 oz each) Lil’ Smokies sausages
1 cup pineapple chunks (drained)
½ cup pineapple juice
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
Add Lil’ Smokies and pineapple chunks to a large skillet or slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce over the sausages and pineapple.
Add butter on top.
Cook on LOW for 2–3 hours in a slow cooker or simmer on the stovetop over medium-low heat for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Allow the sauce to thicken and become glossy.
Serve warm as an appetizer or snack, garnished as desired.
