Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole – Delicious and Easy

1 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork (substitute with ground turkey)

1 egg

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups cooked macaroni

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 🌡️🔥
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork (or turkey), egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. 🥣👩‍🍳
Press mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. 🥧👍
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. 🕒👀
Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 🍜👌
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. 🍳🥄
Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth. Cook and stir until thickened, about 5 minutes. 🥛🍗
Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. 🧀🥄
