½ small onion, finely diced
3 cups green cabbage, shredded

For Garnish
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook for several minutes until it softens.
Mix in soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Taste and adjust with salt and black pepper if needed.
Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
