Ingredients
1 kg (2.2 lb) chicken wings
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp baking powder (optional, for extra crispiness)
For the sauce:
3 tbsp honey
2–3 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp lime juice (optional)
For garnish:
Chopped spring onions
Sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare the wings:
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Pat chicken wings dry, then toss with salt, pepper, and baking powder if using.
Bake the wings:
Place wings on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
Make the sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, and lime juice. Heat gently until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
Coat the wings:
Toss the baked wings in the sticky honey-Sriracha sauce until evenly coated.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot as an appetizer or main snack.
