Ingredients
1 package King’s Hawaiian Rolls
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
Pinch of salt
Butter, for cooking
Powdered sugar, for serving
Fresh berries, for serving
Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt until well combined.
Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half, separating the tops and bottoms, and place them cut-side down in a baking dish.
Pour the egg mixture over the rolls, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them soak for about 10 minutes.
Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
Cook the soaked rolls on the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve the French toast warm, dusted with powdered sugar, and topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup.
