Ingredients
For the chicken:
500g (1.1 lb) chicken tenders
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2–3 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter for frying/baking
Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the coating:
In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place flour in another bowl and beaten eggs in a separate bowl.
Coat the chicken:
Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
Cook the chicken:
Pan-fry: Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook tenders for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Bake: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Place tenders on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil or melted butter. Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
