Creamy Beef Lasagna – Easy Tips and Delicious

Ingredients

For the meat sauce
500 g ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups marinara sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper
For the creamy layer
250 g ricotta cheese
100 g cream cheese (softened)
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 egg
½ cup grated parmesan
Pinch of salt & pepper
For assembly
9–12 lasagna sheets (cooked or oven-ready)
2 cups shredded mozzarella
Extra parmesan for topping
Optional
Fresh basil or parsley

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
Heat olive oil in a pan
Cook onion until soft, then add garlic
Add ground beef and cook until browned
Stir in marinara, tomato paste, seasoning, salt, and pepper
Simmer for 10–15 minutes
In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish
Layer lasagna sheets → meat sauce → creamy mixture → mozzarella
Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella on top
Sprinkle extra parmesan
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes
Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing
