Ingredients
For the bites:
2 cups broccoli florets (steamed & chopped)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan
Salt & pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For coating:
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup flour
For frying:
Oil of choice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Filling
Steam broccoli until tender, chop finely, then mix with mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt & pepper.
2. Form the Balls
Scoop small portions and roll into balls. If the mixture is too soft, chill for 15–20 minutes.
3. Coat for Crispiness
Roll each ball in flour → dip into beaten eggs → coat with breadcrumbs.
4. Fry Until Golden
Heat oil and fry the balls until crispy and deep golden.
(You can also air-fry at 200°C for 12–15 minutes, spraying lightly with oil.)
5. Serve Hot!
