Ingredients
8 cups blackberries
3½ cups sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Add blackberries to a saucepan and mash slightly.
2. Stir in sugar and lemon juice.
3. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
4. Bring mixture to a boil and cook 15–20 minutes until thick.
5. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
6. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
7. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
