Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed until well combined.

Stir in boiling water and Baileys Irish Cream. Batter will be thin.

Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
For Baileys Buttercream Frosting:

In a large bowl, beat softened butter until creamy.

Gradually add powdered sugar, beating on low speed until combined.

Add Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract. Beat on high speed until fluffy.

If needed, add heavy cream to reach desired consistency.

Frost the cooled cakes with Baileys buttercream frosting.
