Stuffed Apples with Brie and Walnuts – A Delicious Fall Recipe

Stuffed Apples with Brie and Walnuts 🍏🧀
These Stuffed Apples with Brie and Walnuts are a delightful blend of sweet and savory, featuring baked apples filled with creamy Brie, crunchy walnuts, and a touch of honey. This dish makes for a beautiful appetizer or a light dessert, perfect for fall or any special occasion.

Ingredients

Ingredients:
4 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
4 oz Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
½ cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
2 tablespoons honey (for drizzling)
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter, melted
Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Prepare the Apples: 2. Cut the tops off the apples and scoop out the cores, leaving a well in the center for the stuffing. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the apple.
Stuff the Apples: 3. Place a few cubes of Brie into each apple cavity, then top with chopped walnuts. Drizzle each apple with a little honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Brush with Butter: 4. Lightly brush the outside of each apple with melted butter to help them soften and brown while baking.
Bake: 5. Arrange the apples in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender but still hold their shape, and the Brie is melted.
Serve: 6. Once out of the oven, drizzle with more honey and garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired. Serve warm.
