Prepare the Beef Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and shape into small patties, about 1 inch in diameter.
Cook the Beef Patties: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a small square of cheddar cheese and let it melt.
Assemble the Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers: Place a cooked tater tot on a plate and add a dollop of mayonnaise on top. Layer with a piece of lettuce, followed by the cheeseburger patty. Add a slice of cherry tomato and a pickle slice, then top with another tater tot to complete the mini burger. Secure the layers with a toothpick.
Notes
Serve: Arrange the mini cheeseburgers on a platter. Serve with ketchup and mayonnaise on the side for dipping.
