Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy
At RecipesTower, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same in return. As an internet service provider, we are entitled to claim immunity from infringement claims under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you can submit a good faith infringement notice to us by providing the following details:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
To file a notice of copyright infringement with us, please include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and sufficient information to allow us to locate the material on our website. Please provide the specific URL(s) where the allegedly infringing material is found to help us identify it quickly.
- Contact information of the complaining party, including your name, physical address, email address, phone number, and, if available, a fax number.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is unauthorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Penalties for Misrepresentation
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), there are penalties for false claims of copyright infringement, including liability for costs and attorney fees, if any person knowingly and materially misrepresents information in a notification of claimed infringement.
