Spicy Cajun Chicken Linguine in Creamy Garlic Parmesan
Ingredients
• 12 oz linguine pasta
• 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1½ tbsp Cajun seasoning
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• ½ cup chicken broth
• ½ tsp paprika
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Season sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss well to coat. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
