Comfort food magic with just a few ingredients!
This cozy, cheesy chili dog casserole is an easy weeknight dinner that’ll have the whole family asking for seconds (ours did!). Flaky croissants, gooey cheese, hearty chili, and hot dogs all baked together into one crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of chili (with or without beans—your call!)

  • 1 pack of hot dogs

  • 1 can crescent rolls (like Pillsbury)

  • 6–8 slices of American cheese

  • Optional: skip the cheese for picky eaters 👍

 How to Make It

1️⃣ Layer the Chili

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grab a 9×13″ baking dish and pour in the can of chili to cover the bottom.

 Roll It Up

Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place 1 hot dog + 1 slice of American cheese on each triangle, then roll it up from the wide end to the tip.
Don’t like cheese? Totally fine—just leave it out like I did for my daughter!


3️⃣ Assemble & Bake

Place your wrapped hot dogs seam-side down over the chili.
Pop the dish into the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until golden and bubbling!


4️⃣ Serve It Up

Let cool for a few minutes, then dig in!
Serve with a side salad or fries for a full meal.

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Use shredded cheddar or pepper jack if you prefer it over American.

  • Add diced onions or jalapeños inside the rolls for a kick!

  • Use turkey dogs or plant-based dogs for a lighter twist.
